How to get there

By car:

Munich is situated at the intersection of various motorways (A8 Stuttgart –  Salzburg, A9 Nürnberg – Munich, A95 Garmisch – Munich). From any motorway, follow the signs for the "Mittlerer Ring" (central ringroad) and continue to the ringroad’s northern section ("Petuelring"). From here, turn south into the "Leopoldsstraße" (first road west of exit "M. – Schwabing" on  the A8 from Nürnberg). Turn right into the "Schellingstraße" approximately 500m west of the "Siegestor".

By train:

From Munich central station ("Hauptbahnhof") take the train (any S-Bahn, S1  – S8) eastbound (direction "Ostbahnhof") to "Marienplatz"  (second stop from "Hauptbahnhof"). Change to either U3 or U6 northbound  (direction "Münchner Freiheit") to "Universität" (second stop from  "Marienplatz").

By plane:

Munich international airport "Franz-Josef Strauß" is situated next to the motorway A92 north-west from the city.By car, change from the A92 to the A9 at the intersection "Neufahrn" (from there v.s.).

From the airport, train services S1 and S8 will take you to the "Marienplatz". From there, change to U3 or U6 northbound (direction "Münchner Freiheit") to the "Universität" (second stop from the "Marienplatz").
