"Modes of modality" encompasses the meeting "Funktion(en) von Modalität: Treffen des internationalen Arbeitskreises 'Modalität im Deutschen'" and the conference "Modality, Typology, and Universal Grammar". It will take place from 10-12th May 2012 at the German Lingustics Department of LMU Munich.
